![]() ![]() In my experience, I set up windows, and login with my Microsoft account (as I'm FORCED to do), and OneDrive is already there replacing all my explorer shortcuts with stupid OneDrive shortcuts (replacing C:/Users/LemonsGetSqueezed/Desktop with C:/Users/LemonsGetSqueezed/OneDrive/Desktop) that make dealing with file management a headache. I'm writing a guide to save people in the future from dealing with this B.S. In Windows 11 (and 10, i believe) OneDrive is the biggest pain in the ass for me. After that, you're free to login to a Microsoft account. TLDR for people who want to use this method in a different way Don't login with a Microsoft account during setup, after you get to the desktop, delete OneDrive from apps and programs, and delete the OneDrive folder in your user folder. ![]()
